John Deere Snow Blowers
While John Deere Snow Blowers may not be the cheapest snow blowers you will find, the quality and durability they offer makes them a choice that will supply quality performance for years to come. While mostly known for their use by the industrial and commercial community, they also supply some great choices for residential snow blowers as well.
One of the best features of John Deere Snow Blowers is the power of the engine. Most of their models use Briggs and Stratton engines which supply up to 16.5 ft./lbs. of complete torque power. These snowblowers also offer the ability to be maneuvered easily. This is helped by the presence of X-Trac tires, as well as hands free controls and a "Quick Turn" drive system. Another feature that puts John Deere Snow Blowers head and shoulders above the rest is their durability. With steel serrated augers and heavy-duty gear cases these snow blowers are among the most durable you can find anywhere. They also have a specially reinforced frame to protect the blower from going down in even the heaviest accumulations of snow. The convenience of being a snow blower that is also very easy to use is another feature that makes John Deere Snow Blowers among the best in the industry. The multiple speed friction disk drive system along with fine rotations of the electric chutes make the blowers easy to handle. Some models feature push button starting systems along with heavy duty skid shoes. When using one of the heavy duty models the "Fresh Start" fuel cap will also provide greater fuel quantity. The John Deere Snow Blowers also usually come with 6 forward speeds and 2 speeds in reverse.
With John Deere you will find two types of snow blowers, which are Single-stage and Dual Stage throwers. An example of the single stage snow blower is called the 522E. Compared to other Deere units the 522E is a compact snow blower and one of the only models you can find for under $1000. It has a robust 4 cycle Briggs and Stratton engine which supplies 5.25 ft./lbs. of torque power. It also features a convenient remote chute rotation of up to 190 degrees and can throw snow up to 22 inches away. There is an ample mitten grip and it has an Auger-propelled drive system. The handlebars can be folded down which means it will also be easy to store.
One of their top dual stage snow throwers is the 1130SE. While it may be more expensive than a single-stage thrower, it is also a more powerful machine. It has a 4 cycle OHV Briggs and Stratton Snow Series Max engine and features X-Trac tires. Other features include easy chute rotation, steel auger, and durable cast iron gear case. Perhaps the best feature though is the Easy Steer drive technology, which provides auto speed adjustments and dynamic movement. These John Deere Snow Blowers can also throw snow with a 30 inch clearing width.
Whether you need a snow blower for work or your home, a single stage blower or a dual stage blower, John Deere Snow Blowers are among the best you can find. The durability and performance of these snow blowers make them the virtual cream of the crop when it comes to snow blowers.
